Balancing traditional healthcare & alternative therapy as a COPD patient
CHALLENGE
The challenge included structuring, analysis and building communication pieces to present a strategic direction that identified the factors affecting the management of COPD in the context of home care.
PROCESS
The research data was self reported collected from patients suffering from COPD through DScout. Structuring of 126 snippets of data and analysis using frameworks that was used to create models and pieces of communication to communicate the strategic direction for the client.

Along with a traditional healthcare treatment, a condition like COPD needs to be managed at different levels in order to have a quality. This poster illustrates measures that COPD patients adopt as alternative therapies or ‘workarounds’ in their different stages of coping with COPD.
